Canine skeleton

The skeleton may be divided up into three segments: The cranial skeleton, the axial skeleton, and the appendicular skeleton.
The cranial skeleton consists primarily of the skull; the axial skeleton are those bone that lie along the axis of the animal from head to tail; and the appendicular skeleton consists of the appendages or limbs of the animal.
