Neuroscience Club is focused on helping students to prepare for their future in Neuroscience by providing mentors for underclassmen and giving upperclassmen a place to get advice about professional school. Neuroscience club members learn more about the field, network with scientists, serve the community, eat a lot of pizza, and do fun things together like paintball and wall-climbing.
Information about joining the Neuroscience club can be found on CougSync (requires a WSU login) or our Facebook page
CVM College Promoters
The College of Veterinary Medicine Collegiate Promoters Program is a student leadership organization that encourages students to pursue higher education and serves as a liaison between the undergraduate programs of the College and the greater community. Students who are majoring (certified or intended) in Biochemistry, Genetics and Cell Biology, Microbiology, and Neuroscience are eligible to apply to become a part of this program.
2016 CVM Collegiate Promoters will be expected to participate in the program in both Spring and Fall 2016.
Promoters are not required to know anything about the Veterinary Medicine (DVM) program — just be enthusiastic about our undergraduate majors!
What do CVM Promoters do?
CVM Promoters represent the programs of the College at events like Future Cougar Days, Fall Preview, Destination: WSU, The CVM Open House, and Future Cougars of Color. Promoters may also represent the college at community and student events as well.
