Scholarships are available to students at all stages of their career at WSU!
First-Year students entering WSU will be considered for a CVM First-Year scholarship if they submit the WSU Scholarship application on time and select Biochemistry, Genetics and Cell Biology, Microbiology, or Neuroscience as an area of interest. Up to 5 scholarships will be awarded each year, each with a value of up to $2,500.00 for the first year at WSU. Information on applying for WSU Scholarships can be found on the WSU Scholarship page.
Each major program has endowed funds to give scholarships to outstanding students in the major. Funds are available for both certified majors and pre-certified students. Students are automatically considered for these scholarships by the program if they submit the annual WSU Scholarship Application form on time and choose Biochemistry, Genetics and Cell Biology, Microbiology, or Neuroscience as their major. Peter A. Zornes Memorial Neuroscience Scholarship
In memory of Peter A. Zornes, and to serve as an inspiration to others, a memorial neuroscience scholarship was established in his honor. The scholarship is intended to benefit certified neuroscience undergraduate students like Peter.
Eligible students are juniors or seniors who are certified Neuroscience majors or who will be certified within 1 semester and who will not graduate for more than 1 semester. Application details can be found on the Neuroscience website.
